Yes!  All of Sunsational Cart Rentals' golf carts are fully street legal and may be driven on roads where Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs) are permitted in Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach, North Carolina.  Our carts are equipped with the required safety features, including seat belts, headlights, brake lights, turn signals, mirrors, and a VIN, making them compliant with North Carolina LSV regulations.  Drivers must be 21 years or older, have a valid driver's license, and carry valid auto insurance. 

Yes!  Free delivery and pickup are included with every golf cart rental in Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach.  We'll deliver your fully charged, clean, and ready-to-drive golf cart directly to your vacation rental before your arrival whenever possible.  At the end of your rental, we'll pick it up, making your beach vacation as convenient and hassle-free as possible.

Yes.  To rent or drive one of our street-legal golf carts in Ocean Isle Beach or Sunset Beach, you must have valid auto insurance.  Because our golf carts are classified as Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs), North Carolina law requires drivers to carry liability insurance, just as they would when driving a car.  Please have your auto insurance card available when making your reservation, as we'll need information from it to complete your booking. 

Charging your golf cart is quick and easy.  Simply plug the included charging cord into a standard 110-volt household electrical outlet each evening or whenever the cart is not in use.  Charging overnight will ensure the battery is fully charged and ready for another day of exploring Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach.  We recommend keeping the cart plugged in whenever it's parked for extended periods to maximize battery life and performance.

The safety of our customers and the protection of our golf carts are our top priorities.  If a named tropical storm or hurricane threatens Ocean Isle Beach or Sunset Beach, we may temporarily remove our golf carts from the island to protect them from flooding, storm surge, or other hazardous conditions.

Once local conditions are safe and authorities allow travel, we'll return the golf carts to the island as quickly as possible so you can continue enjoying your rental.

Because these events are beyond our control, no refunds, credits, or extensions are provided for interruptions caused by named storms, hurricanes, mandatory evacuations, or other weather-related events.  We appreciate your understanding and recommend considering travel insurance if you're concerned about weather impacting your vacation.
